What is this verse talking about?
1 Corinthians 6:13 says,
You say, "Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food." This is true, though someday God will do away with both of them. But our bodies were not made for sexual immorality. They were made for the Lord, and the Lord cares about our bodies.
I think...it is saying a number of things. First, that when we are given new bodies (as mentioned in other verses) we will not have a stomach or digestive system. Second, there will not be food in heaven. Third, the sin of overeating is not as bad as sexual sins. Forth, our bodies are not made to be used and abused but rather to glorify God!
What do you think it means?
